R.I.P. Mr. Hockey

Gordie was a force when he played,, and he played on and on and on,, including for our very own Hartford Whalers.. He was much admired.
RIP Gordie!~ 



And on a very sad and tragic note... Christina Grimmie (March 12, 1994  -June 10, 2016)  was shot and killed in Orlando. She was a very talented singer from Southern New Jersey. I followed her on Youtube for several years, and then her career started to take off, with appearances on Ellen, and Oprah, and then , most recently  on The Voice.  Some nutjob came up while she was signing autographs and shot her, and then shot and killed himself. A very sad commentary on life in the United States, indeed. Such a waste of talent.
