Three dinghies at Perkins Cove in Ogunquit Maine
When we were kids my parent would sometimes get everyone up before the sun to go fishing on one of our little skiffs. I didn't mind the fishing part but I think the fish are still in the river at.....say noon! Love it!
Lol.. you're in Maryland? Lots of those little skiffs down there on the bay.. I lived in South Jersey for a number of years (moms are still down there .) and sis in law lived in Salisbury, and Galena.. These little skiffs are from up in Maine..
Nice, good representation of "grayscale"
i would not step into one of those for anything..nice capture david
Really? lol.. I love stuff like those .. they don't go very far, just to their work boats.. lol
they go back and forth a lot.....tipping i mean...especially when you first step in. Kinda wobbly.
Only if you step in wrong! lol.. LIke a canoe you have to know the proper technique for getting in.. lol
I dont have any technique. I could trip over a pebble in the street.
are these more like containers to drag things around in or actual vehicles that people move about in? they're so cool looking and look antique
They're used as tenders for the lobstermen to row out to their boats to go fishing. Most of them are hand made out of plywood..
Great , very well spotted David!
Very nice indeed david.
Love the different shapes and tones.
Hey stop rocking the boat nice B&W Dave
I like in bw ..nice tones
It's a very cool arrangement, considering they're each slightly differently shaped and toned... adds to the visual interest
tenders are most important! being a sailor..i never leave home without mine!
