At the mill pondby `davincipoppalag

There is a tidal pond about 2 miles from where I work. I went to the bank across the street and saw this guy over there...so..I went and took a quickie of him and his friends..anyone know what it is? Egret?

Fantastic shot! It could be either a Snowy Egret (I think more likely) or a Little Egret. They are very similar looking in the springtime, the biggest difference is the crest, the Snowy's is a bit shaggy, while the Little's is two long feathers...looks shaggy to me. Either case, it's a lovely shot!!!
